Who is Lia?

This is a good question. Who am I? Personally, I believe I am an infinite being with boundless abilities. I am seamlessly connected to the universe and constantly becoming more and more aware of how amazing it is to be me.

Okay, that might not be the answer you were expecting. So, here are some ways I have interacted with the world around me.

I've been a university writing teacher, technical writer, editor, and self-publisher for about a decade. Putting together beautiful documents (including this blog and other blogs) and then publishing them to be encountered by others gives me great pleasure. I love to find clear and meaningful ways to communicate that bring not only understanding, but joy and opening of the soul.

I'm a meditation bead artist. This is one of my favorite ways to express myself creatively. Making meditation beads isn't a commonly recognized artistic genre, like painting or sculpting. Instead, it is an art form that I evolved into after making many rosaries and malas, as part of wanting to understand different cultures and religions. Some of my work is displayed online in my Meditation Bead Art Gallery, if you'd care to drop by for a peek.

I'm a healer. As I have worked on finding the wholeness of my own soul, I have learned about many ways to encounter the human mind, spirit, aura, and other energies. It is always a beautiful and perspective-giving experience to find wholeness in my soul or another person's soul. I have worked with women, men, and children to help them live in awareness and stretch toward the truth that only they can find.
