They are pictures of meditation beads I have made. When I began to put together this blog, I realized that I wanted to "illustrate" it with my own creations. One of my strongest artistic expressions is through meditation beads. I have been making them for years, and have displayed them on exhibit.
I'm fascinated with the way my beads resonate with people. In the beginning, I simply made them for myself: to nourish my soul during hard times, to enliven my spirit for a part of me that was being birthed, to affirm changes that were trying to take hold. And more.
When I exhibited my beads as part of an art show, I found that they received the strongest response of any of my work. I sold quite a few of the pieces I displayed, and, by the end of the exhibit had received my first of what would become many commissions for personalized work.
This art form is an expression of my awareness as well as an expression of blessing those in my sphere of influence. It seemed fitting to use pictures of my work to enhance this blog.

Pictures of healing tools are photos I took of the actual tools I use.
